According to experts, the six best cities to buy a home this fall are Dallas, New Orleans, Austin, Texas, Tampa, Florida, Seattle, Washington, Las Vegas, Nevada, Los Angeles, California and Chicago, Illinois. Dallas is ranked as the third best US city to buy a home in 2023, thanks to the city’s tremendous job growth and high number of active listings, and homes in New Orleans have seen a $10,000 price reduction from the summer’s peak.
