Collin County’s certified taxable value reached $280.2B in 2026, up ~4% yearly, with $7.7B in new property added to the tax rolls.
Countywide avg. home value slipped slightly, moving from $603.2K in 2025 to $588.1K in 2026 even as total property values kept growing.
County growth remained strongest in northern areas and expanded more across the east side, showing development activity continued broadening beyond earlier hot spots.
Officials said growth kept spreading across Collin County, lifting overall valuations and adding new taxable property even while avg. home values edged lower.
For the new rural district, officials said any future tax rate could be no more than 10 cents per $100 of valuation.
