Collin County property values continue to rise

Collin County property values rose 1.28% to $272.8 billion in 2026, slowing from an 8.11% increase the previous year. New construction added $7.87 billion to the tax base. Average home values slightly declined in several areas: Sachse (-1.55%), Wylie (0.04%), and Wylie ISD (-1.63%), while Murphy saw a 2.18% increase. Lavon, Princeton, and Farmersville also experienced notable value gains. Property owners can file appraisal protests online, by mail, or in person.
