North Texas saw substantial growth in 2024 with major developments. The $6 billion Preston Harbor project in Denison, including a Margaritaville resort and luxury homes, will start infrastructure construction in 2025. Walsh Ranch in Fort Worth expanded with new homes, an early education center, and plans for a UTA campus. The $3 billion Kay Bailey Hutchison convention center expansion began, projected to have a $6 billion economic impact. A sports and entertainment district in Mansfield with a 7,000-seat stadium is also under construction.
